Hi, Dear CSSA fellows,
As you may know, CSSA Haircut Group has been serving the Chinese community around UC for years. It has provided great convenience for Chinese students and scholars, especially those newcomers. Meanwhile, it also received great support from the Chinese community. As the current organizer, I thank all those friends who have come to our activities. Thank you guys for your trust and support. Without those, we wouldn't have sustained till now. Especially, I want to thank all volunteers, who have spent time and energy to make other people look better. It is them who made the haircut activity possible.
The volunteers who have been participating the haircut activities during the past year are:
Feng Gao, Qian Zhang, Xiaoqing Chang, Chun Han, Hongmei Zhu, Ying Fang, Xin Wang, Kejun Zhang, Rentian Xiong, Mengyan Dai, Junhai Guo, Xin He, Wei Cao, Qun Zuo, Dongmei Lan.

Some of the people I mentioned above have been serving the haircut activity for really long time. Some of them have graduated and left. And many of them are writing their thesis and are very busy. So we will face the lack of hands in the near future. Many of you may have already experienced this during the past several activities. To ensure this program to run smoothly, we call for your support and participation. We are looking for people who are interested to learn haircutting techniques and who are willing to join our exciting group.
Certain things needed to be clarified:
You don't need to know how to cut hairs to join. Of course it will be great if you already know.
The things you need are interests, carefullness, and some patience.
You don't have to come every time or stay the whole session. Just come when convenient and stay as long as you want.
We will arrange ride if you don't have a car.
For me, the haircut activity is more like fun, relaxation, and a good social event. You may feel the same way when you come and join us. Come to meet old friends and make new friends, and spend a period of happy time.
